We’re now hiring a Business Development Manager - MICE & Groups, to join our dynamic European team. This role will ideally be based from Berlin, Frankfurt or Vienna. (CVs to be submitted in English only please).

Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in hotel or aparthotel sales, with a strong focus on MICE and/or groups
- Demonstrable experience in the German-speaking market (essential)
- Fluency in English and German
- Proven track record in proactive business development and pipeline generation
- Strong network within the MICE / agency landscape in the DACH region
- Commercial mindset with the ability to convert opportunities into revenue
- Familiarity with systems such as Salesforce, Opera, IDEAS, Agency360 or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- A fiercely proactive and can-do attitude
- A willingness to travel when needed – this role will involve frequent travel within Germany and Austria
Responsibilities
- Act as a key commercial contact for MICE agencies and group organisers across the DACH region, building strong and lasting relationships
- Proactively generate new MICE and group business across multiple destinations within the portfolio
- Build, manage and convert a strong pipeline of event, trade fair and group opportunities
- Position Staycity and Wilde as preferred partners within the MICE and group segment
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events and industry platforms
- Work closely with local sales teams and operational teams to ensure strong conversion and successful delivery
- Lead and support sales activities across the region, including roadshows, presentations and client engagement initiatives
- Ensure timely and competitive proposals in collaboration with internal teams, with a clear focus on revenue and profitability
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline and performance within CRM systems
- Continuously identify new business opportunities and contribute to the overall growth of the segment
