Overview

Looking to build your sales career while shaping the future of digital marketing and eCommerce? As our next BDR for the DACH region, you’ll work at the heart of a fast-moving market, helping digital agencies, brands and retailers unlock new levels of performance with our tool.

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) who will be an important contributor to Channable's growth in the DACH region. Alongside your team members in the German market (Alina, Lea, Tom) and reporting to your Team Lead Sales (Franca), you will be developing and securing new business opportunities with brands, online retailers, and marketing agencies. You are successful because of your willingness to learn more about the eCommerce and digital marketing space and your ability to convince prospects that Channable is the essential missing piece in their tech stack.

What you'll do

  • Own Your Numbers: You will demonstrate ownership and consistently achieve your sales goals. The DACH region is a strong market, and exceeding your quota is feasible.
  • Become a Customer Expert: Sell based on trust. Attend industry events or host roundtables, partner dinners, or webinars to expand your network within eCommerce.
  • Build a Personal Brand: Showcase your expertise via social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn) or on stages at expert events.
  • Master Product Expertise: Stay up to date with the dynamics of the eCommerce industry and every update in our tool.

Who are you?

  • You’re just getting started in your professional career or already have experience in business development, eCommerce, or digital marketing.
  • You are a motivated, reliable self-starter with strong organizational skills.
  • You like to win and to develop yourself to be successful.
  • You are willing to become an expert in the marketplace, digital marketing and e-commerce space.
  • Strong communication, storytelling and listening skills.
  • Your language skills include excellent written and spoken English and German at a C1-C2 level, and if you speak an additional EU language that would be awesome!

Some practical things we expect from you:

  • You are living in Berlin, or at least within travel distance to our Berlin office.
  • You are willing to come to our Berlin office for minimum two days a week.
  • You are available for at least 32 hours per week (minimum 4 days/week).
  • You are available to travel at least once per quarter.
  • You have a valid work permit for Germany or EU citizenship.

Your journey at Channable

As the hub of all tool knowledge, training and onboarding must be thorough. You will participate in 2 weeks of training at our Utrecht office in the Netherlands to familiarize yourself with the tool and your coworkers. Travel costs and accommodation are covered. We value relationships and you won’t spend evenings and weekends alone if you enjoy having people around. Your buddy will support you throughout onboarding.

Channable is a fast-growing B2B SaaS platform that offers a fully integrated way to market products online. We empower marketers and online businesses to manage, scale, and optimize their marketing.

What do we offer?

  • Salary: Total OTE (100%) between €58,663 and €67,320 gross annual based on 40 hours.

OTE consists of 70% base salary and 30% commission.

  • Base salary: gross between €41,064 and €47,124 annually (70%), based on 40 hours. Determined by experience.
  • Bonus: 30% performance bonus gross between €17,599 and €20,196 annually (based on 40 hours).
  • 8% holiday allowance.
  • Onboarding in Utrecht (NL): 2 weeks.
  • Annual L&D budget of €1000.
  • Traveling to our office covered (Deutschlandticket).
  • Health insurance: we cover half of the social security contributions.
  • Saving for old age: 5% saving contribution.
  • Flexible hybrid policy: minimum 2 days in the office.
  • Home office supplies provided.
  • 26 vacation days + 2 reload days.
  • Opportunity to work abroad for up to 3 weeks per year.
  • Flexible working hours: start between 8:00 – 10:00.
