Join us as a Business Support Specialist (m/f/d) in the HMO Product Management team at our production site in Rheinbreitbach.
The HMO Product Management team acts as a central interface between different departments. Working in a collaborative environment, the team supports cross‑functional projects and contributes diverse expertise to shared goals.
In close cooperation with commercial and business teams, the role manages customer enquiries on topics such as product quality, production processes, customer applications, and specifications. The team plays a key role in supporting new customer projects and new product introductions.
Role & Your Impact
- Provide operational, administrative and cross‑functional support to ensure smooth day‑to‑day business activities.
- Support the HMO Product Management team and internal stakeholders.
- Strengthen the ability to support and accelerate customers’ product qualification requirements.
- Prepare, update and maintain statements, customer questionnaire, reports, documentation and presentations.
- Facilitate internal communication between departments such as sales, customer service, operations and quality to improve processes.
- Handle data entry, data validation and system updates with a high level of accuracy.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Your Key Responsibilities In This Role
- Coordinate daily business processes and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and documenting follow‑up actions.
- Gather feedback from customers to identify areas for product improvement and share insights with the sales and product development teams.
What You'll Need To Be Successful In This Role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food technology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of food technology, biotechnology products and relevant applications.
- Previous experience in business support, operations, administration or office coordination.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams is an advantage.
- Ability to prioritize tasks with high attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
- English language is mandatory; German is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to a non‑technical audience.
