We are looking for you for our locations in Munich, Ingolstadt and Manching:

Your tasks

• You will debug and optimize software to improve performance, reliability, and resource constraints in embedded systems
• You will develop and execute test plans, including unit, integration, and system tests, to achieve verification objectives according to DO-178
• You will implement and test communication protocols such as A429, CAN, Ethernet (UDP/TCP), and MIL-STD-1553 to support data exchange in avionics systems
• You will design, code, and test embedded software using C++ for aerospace and defense electronics, ensuring compliance with DO-178 standards for safety-critical systems
• You will integrate software with avionics hardware and systems to ensure seamless operation in real-time environments

Your profile

• You have 2-3 years of professional experience in C++ development for embedded systems, particularly in aerospace or defense electronics
• You have experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and are familiar with their application in safety-critical environments
• You have knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, A429, TCP/IP, UDP, and MIL-STD-1553, which is an advantage
• You are familiar with development tools for embedded software (e.g., compilers, debuggers, IDEs such as Green Hills MULTI or Wind River Workbench)
• You have an understanding of software lifecycle processes according to DO-178, including requirements-based development, verification, and validations
