Cabin Connectivity Test Engineer (d/f/m)

We are looking for a Cabin Connectivity Test Engineer (m/f/d) in Hamburg. As part of the Aircraft Cabin Test Center in Hamburg, we develop and offer services to ensure the maturity of cabin systems prior to delivery to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and reliability of cabin systems on AIRBUS aircraft
• Test and analyze Wi‑Fi and cellular‑based network infrastructure
• Program test tools and scripts using Python, NodeJS, and C for test automation or data analysis
• Analyze Linux‑based network challenges to develop new test solutions
• Collaborate closely with cabin test teams and the design office
• Actively participate in Airbus innovation projects

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, or equivalent; a master’s degree preferred
• Experience in IP‑based system architecture and networks
• Experience in cloud computing
• Experience in software/system testing
• Experience in satellite communications is a plus
• Basic knowledge of project methodologies (waterfall and agile) and quality management
• Willingness to travel and fluent communication skills in German and English

Location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg on the southern banks of the Elbe River. The site supports commuting via ferry.
