The Institute of Solid State and Materials Physics, Faculty of Physics, invites applications for the Chair (W2) of Low‑Temperature Physics of Topological Quantum Materials and Devices, to be filled at the earliest possible date.
The Chair will represent the field of Experimental Condensed Matter Physics in research and teaching. Core responsibilities include:

The position is governed by §§ 59, 69, 71 of the Act on Higher Education Institutions in the Free State of Saxony (SächsHSG) and the Regulations on Duties and Responsibilities of Institutes of Higher Education (HSDAVO). The Chair will enjoy the full academic and administrative status accorded to German university faculty.
