Commercial Quality Associate

Our client is a leading international FMCG company, home to a portfolio of well‑known and trusted brands.

We are seeking a Commercial Quality Associate with responsibility for quality across distribution, co‑packing operations, and supply chain functions.

Location: Heidelberg, Germany (Hybrid, 3 days in the office).

Responsibilities

• Audit and qualify warehouses and co‑packers to ensure compliance with internal quality standards.
• Manage quality incidents and non‑conformities, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, and Regulatory teams to maintain product compliance.
• Support label creation and product conformity with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver internal audits and training on quality procedures for key departments.
• Conduct risk assessments and prepare formal documentation with Legal and Regulatory teams.
• Coordinate management reviews and report quality KPIs for leadership updates.
• Monitor quality standards, traceability, and product handling with external partners.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Food Tech, Quality Management, or Supply Chain.
• 1–2 years’ experience in quality‑related roles (QA, QC, compliance, regulatory, or audit).
• Background in consumer goods, logistics, or manufacturing quality management.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and eager to grow in an international environment.
