Configuration and ILS Specialist (m/f/d) SPO - limited to one year

YOUR MISSION:

The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Configuration and Documentation Management (CADM) Team analyses spare parts availabilities, ensures that Galileo ground stations always have enough spares available, and it provides Logistic Support Services. The ILS and CADM team deals with the configuration management of the Galileo ground segments and with the international flow of goods from Germany, Italy and Belgium to the worldwide spread Galileo ground stations and vice versa. For the performance of tasks in the field of Integrated Logistics Support and Configuration and Document Management for the Galileo Ground Segment we are looking for an ILS and CADM Engineer.

The place of work is in Munich, with the possibility of up to 40% mobile office work. The position is limited to one year.

Your responsibilities:

• Supporting the ILS team with analyses and reporting (Asset Management Plan, Configuration Management Plan, Logistic Support Analysis etc.)
• Supporting Spares Management and Procurement
• Document Management
• Data Management in ILS tools and assurance of common norms and standards
• Supporting audits and inspections of international Galileo ground stations at Oberpfaffenhofen (Germany), Madrid (Spain), Transinne (Belgium) and Fucino (Italy)

YOUR QUALIFICATION:

• University’s degree in engineering, economics, business administration with a technical / logistical focus or similar
• Experience in CADM and ILS
• Experience in configuration control and management
• Experience in international projects is an advantage
• Experience with database solutions is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills
• Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
• Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory
• German is an advantage
