Construction site planner

• The construction site scheduler and contract manager is responsible for monitoring and reconciling construction site schedules and at the same time supports contract and claim management with the construction service provider and other suppliers.
• It ensures that construction progress is planned, measured and reported transparently and reliably, and that facts relevant to deadlines and services are systematically recorded on site and used for the evaluation of supplements.
• They will works closely with the construction management, the central project controlling / overall schedule planner and the project manager and is an important interface between the construction site, project management and construction subcontractor.

Main Responsibilities

• Scheduling and progress monitoring on the construction site
• Tracking and updating of the detailed construction site schedule in coordination with construction management and overall schedule planner (e.g. in Primavera or comparable tools)
• Create and update a 6 week preview of construction site activities on a weekly basis based on the construction contractor's schedule and project specifications
• Monitoring of the construction progress of the construction service provider (target/actual comparison) including identification of deviations, risks and necessary countermeasures
• Comparison of the scope of services of the construction subcontractor with the progress achieved (quantities, milestones, work packages) in preparation for progress evaluations and payments
• Comparison between the subcontractor's schedule and the overall schedule (consistency, logical dependencies, milestones, interfaces to other trades)
• Preparation and transfer of the relevant construction site and progress information for the monthly update of the overall schedule (interface to the central reporting system)
• Collaborate in the creation and updating of milestone plans, look-ahead plans, and reports for project management
• Support in contract and claim management
• Support of the construction site manager and project manager with topics relevant to the schedule and supplements (e.g. delays, obstruction notices, changes in services)
• Participation in the preparation of internal evaluations and statements on supplements (deadline and performance evaluation)
• Systematic collection, documentation and structuring of facts on site to classify or refute supplementary claims of the construction service provider (e.g. timestamps of events, photos, logs, weather data, accessibility, resource resources of the construction subcontractor)
• Prepare work for claims/contract management regarding:
• Deadlines (impact on critical path, milestones)
• Construction disruptions and their causes
• Documented obstructions and countermeasures
• Support in the contractual evaluation of changes (scope changes, additional services) on the basis of the agreed schedule and the documented construction process
• Close coordination with project management, construction management and, if necessary, central contract management for a consistent approach to the construction subcontractor
• Interface and communication tasks internally / with construction subcontractors
• Daily or regular coordination with the construction management on site on status, risks and necessary adjustments in the construction site process
• Regular coordination with the central overall scheduler and the construction subcontractor's scheduler to ensure consistency between the site schedule and the overall project plan
• Transparent communication of deadline status, deviations and risks to project managers and relevant stakeholders
• Participation in construction site rounds, coordination and progress meetings with the construction subcontractor
• Support in the creation of deadline-related content for internal and external project reports
• Coordination and communication with the end customer
• Direct communication with the end customer on site on topics relevant to deadlines and construction processes in close coordination with construction management and project managers
• Participation in construction site meetings, inspections and coordination meetings with the end customer on questions of construction progress, schedule and any changes in services
• Clear and addressee oriented presentation of the current appointment status as well as deviations, risks and proposed measures to the end customer
• Logging and structured documentation of statements, agreements and stipulations from discussions and appointments with the end customer
• Ensure that relevant customer specifications are promptly incorporated into scheduling, progress evaluation, and addendum/claim evaluation
• Passing on and coordinating the stipulations made with the end customer with construction management, project management, overall schedule planner and, if necessary, contract management

Experience required

- Candidate should be from a Civil Design work or Electrical background

-Candidate should have experience with Primavera
