Copywriter, Design Studio - (m/w/d)

What To Expect

We are looking for a highly organized, versatile Copywriter to join our multidisciplinary Design Studio team based in Europe. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for upholding the Tesla tone of voice in customer-facing content across our vehicle and energy products, including email communications, web pages, paid content and social platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring EMEA copy is both aligned with Design Studio copy standards and localized to meet the needs of diverse, regional audiences. This role requires exceptional writing skills, deep knowledge of English grammar and syntax and the ability to write copy that makes even the most complex products easy to understand. This role requires a strong sense of self initiative, exceptional writing skills, deep product knowledge and a keen sense of taste in crafting engaging content while keeping multiple stakeholders aligned.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with product and creative teams to align messaging with product features and design visions
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products across the business
• Have a strong understanding of the Tesla tone of voice and voice and ensure it is held up across all communication channels
• Write copy for email, web, ads, Tesla app, and social
• Proofread, edit and validate all copy for accuracy
• Adhere to project deadlines and communicate milestones to project partners
• Proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment

What You'll Bring

• 3-5+ years of copywriting or journalism experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working interdepartmentally with product and creative teams
• Degree in Communication, Journalism, English or related field (or equivalent experience)
• AP style expert with excellent copywriting, editing and organizational skills
• Skilled at building cross-functional relationship and managing multiple projects at once
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a track record of meeting deadlines on time and within scope
• Fluent in English and one more additional language
