You can look forward to

• You support the collaboration between the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board
• You are responsible for preparing, following up on and carrying out meetings of the Supervisory Board, its committees and the Executive Board
• You further develop internal policies on corporate governance topics in a meaningful and well‑founded way
• You work on corporate governance matters related to annual reports and sustainability reporting
• You contribute to the ongoing development of the governance framework for the Hannover Re Group, taking into account regulatory requirements and the German Corporate Governance Code
• You support the rollout of a new board management tool

You come equipped with

• A successfully completed degree (e.g. in economics, law or public administration) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in corporate governance, board office, legal/compliance or committee management – ideally with exposure to the financial or insurance sector
• Solid knowledge of relevant frameworks, such as the German Corporate Governance Code or capital market requirements
• Professional‑level German and English skills, along with precise and audience‑appropriate communication
• Willingness to undertake occasional, planned business travel
• A careful, structured way of working with a strong commitment to quality and service
• You listen actively and find pragmatic ways to bring together different interests
• You quickly identify what really matters, bring structure to complex topics and respond openly to change
