Creative Head - Crime Genre

We are seeking a Creative Head to adapt long-form fiction into serialized audio first scripts tailored to the German audience. This role blends creative storytelling with sharp editorial instincts. You’ll be responsible for transforming International source material into culturally resonant stories that reflect local sensibilities- while preserving the core narrative essence. This leadership role requires deep expertise and creative leadership within the Crime genre , with a strong understanding of audience expectations and storytelling nuances

What You'll Be Doing:

• An exciting opportunity to build an entire portfolio of Crime, ensuring the best in class shows are selected to represent popular tropes and themes
• Develop and oversee the production of original scripted series from pitch through ongoing production
• Read and give notes on outlines, scripts, and ongoing series and lead a team of creative leads and writers
• Generate new show ideas/concepts and identify writers who can execute them and ensure that ongoing series scripts are delivered on schedule
• Collaborate with other departments to identify ideas/concepts based on market testing and to evaluate performance of ongoing series
• Hiring and nurturing talent that can spearhead and drive this vertical. Training and cascading best practices within the team
• Maintain a high-volume editorial pipeline keeping an eye on throughput with planning checks and balances
• While the magic touch is the writers, should be able to learn and cascade the use of AI powered tools to elevate quantity and quality of output

What We're Looking For:

• 15+ years in fiction/editorial. Has been a founder or held leadership roles in corporates in the past
• In love with crime, you bring deep creative expertise and editorial leadership to shaping compelling, audio-first narratives for the German audience
• Expert understanding of local cultural context and prior managing large teams is must
• Superior editorial instincts, and ability to conduct writer rooms- you should know what makes a story work in a long format, and plan, execute this seamlessly
• Strong preference for experience adapting long-form narrative(Web novels, Self-published books, Comics) into serialized drama
• Working with tech enabled tools should excite you
