You’ll lead design across mama health, shaping experiences for patients in our B2C app and for healthcare teams in our B2B analytics platform. As our Design Lead, you’ll evolve our design system, raise the bar for product quality, and keep our brand and growth surfaces consistent and conversion-focused. This is a high-ownership role with real responsibility: you’ll influence what we build, how it works, and how it’s experienced by users globally.
This role requires you to be based in Berlin!
Work closely with our Head of Product to deeply understand our users, vision, and product goals, and translate them into excellent experiences.
Lead end-to-end product design for mobile and web: user flows, information architecture, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, prototypes, and iteration.
Redefine and evolve our design system in Figma (components, patterns, tokens, and documentation) to create a unified, scalable design language.
Ensure design quality in implementation through crisp handoffs, collaboration with engineering, and design QA.
Shape and maintain our brand expression across product and marketing: website, landing pages, and paid assets, keeping everything consistent and high quality.
Run lightweight user research and usability testing when needed, turning insights into shipped improvements.
3–7 years of experience designing digital products (mobile and web), or an outstanding portfolio that shows strong end-to-end ownership.
Strong visual and interaction design skills, paired with great taste and attention to detail.
Experience building and maintaining component-based design systems in Figma.
Able to work independently, prioritize well, and take ownership from day one.
Comfortable switching between product design and brand/growth design depending on what the company needs most.
Fluent in English (spoken & written). German is a strong plus.
Bonus points for:
Experience in healthcare or designing for complex, sensitive user journeys.
Experience designing analytics dashboards or interfaces involving AI and data-driven interactions.
Experience with web design and conversion-focused landing pages (and collaborating closely with growth teams).
Experience with App Design
