DevOps Engineer (m/f /d)

Tasks inspiring you

• You are responsible for the planning, implementation and optimization of the DevOps infrastructure, in particular the use of IBM Cloud, Kubernetes and Kafka
• You ensure that robust CI/CD pipelines are implemented that enable fast and reliable software delivery and integrate Kubernetes-based solutions
• You will work closely with the development and IT teams to optimize processes and ensure that software solutions are delivered efficiently and stably
• You implement monitoring solutions for our infrastructure, especially for Kubernetes clusters and Kafka streams, and provide proactive monitoring to detect and resolve potential issues early on
• You manage and optimize our IBM Cloud infrastructure, especially with regard to performance, scalability and cost management
• You are responsible for the security of the entire infrastructure and develop security policies to protect the systems, especially in the cloud and in Kubernetes environments, from external threats
• You keep up to date with current trends and developments in the DevOps environment, especially IBM Cloud, Kubernetes and Kafka, and implement new technologies and tools to further increase efficiency

Qualifications that inspire us

• You have a degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
• You have knowledge of IBM Cloud, Kubernetes, Kafka, as well as CI/CD, automation tools (such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI), and other cloud platforms
• You have experience in managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters as well as implementing and managing Kafka for data stream processing
• You have experience in working with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and can effectively lead teams through iterative development processes
• Your communication skills are excellent and you understand how to convey technical issues in an understandable way
• You have knowledge of implementing security measures in a DevOps context (e.g. infrastructure as code, automation of security tests) and especially in dealing with Kubernetes and cloud environments
• You have a structured way of working and approach problems with an analytical approach to develop efficient solutions
• You are fluent in German and have a good command of English
