We’re not looking for a traditional manager. We’re looking for someone who takes responsibility, understands systems—and actually builds things. You’ll be responsible for building our DevOps and Operations division. Not just in theory, but hands-on.

Important: Day-to-day work is conducted in German (min. C1).

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• You will build and lead a small DevOps & Operations team
• You ensure stable and scalable IT operations (services, platforms)
• You work closely with development and product management
• You implement and further develop DevOps standards
• You are responsible for CI/CD, monitoring, security, and infrastructure
• Your hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations is your greatest strength

Qualifications

What you’ll be working with

• Kubernetes & container orchestration
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Cloud & Infrastructure Topics (IaC)
• Logging, Monitoring & Alerting
• Databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
• Messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

Tools are secondary—what matters is that you know what you’re doing and can structure it.

What you bring to the table

• Several years of experience in the DevOps/Operations environment
• Initial leadership experience or a clear ambition to take on a leadership role
• Experience in building or scaling systems
• Strong hands-on approach (you are able and willing to implement things yourself)
• Very good German language skills (C1+) – no exceptions
