YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• OptimizeFleet Intelligence: Lead the automated fleet optimization and intelligence stream, ensuring our global multi-hundred-thousand vehicle fleet isutilizedoptimally acrossdemand and revenue forecasts, cost, contractual constraints, and operational limitations
• Steer Central Initiatives: Drive and prioritize high-impact fleet optimization projects,leveragingAI to maximize efficiency while deciding when and how central Data Science teams should be embedded
• Build Applied AI Solutions: Design,validate, anditerateoptimization models and AI-based decisionsystems
• Ensure Statistical Rigor: Act as a functional leaderwho challenges assumptionsandsecures statistical relevance in all data- and AI-driven approaches
• Elevate Coding Excellence: Support colleagues with your Pythonexpertisewhen low-code or AI-assisted “vibe-coded” solutions (e.g.via tools like Cursor) run into technicallimitations, andhelp harden prototypes into robust production-ready code

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Mindset You measure yourself by business impact, pragmatically balancing model sophistication, data availability, and time-to-market through agile, experiment-driven development
• Experience You bring solid experience in applying statistics and optimization techniques to real-world business problems, ideally in mobility,logistics, or similarly complex operational environments
• Skills Youhave advanced skills in SQL and Python and are comfortable integrating data products and optimization logic into production systems
• Ownership You take full end-to-end responsibility for your topics, from problem definition to measurable outcome, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where trust, autonomy, and accountability are essential
• Language You communicate fluently in English;German is a plus
