Meet The Team

Join Dexcom’s high‑impact DACH Commercial Leadership Team, where we are shaping the future of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) for people living with diabetes. As Marketing Director for the DACH region, you will hold a pivotal position in the DACH commercial leadership team. Responsible for providing strategic direction and ensuring successful development and implementation of marketing growth strategies for Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems you will work in close collaboration with sales, market access and medical functional leads. You will lead a highly skilled marketing team responsible for defining & delivering the cluster marketing strategy and plan, which includes implementing growth enabling innovation and multichannel campaigns & customer engagement strategies to increase preference, prescribing % purchase of Dexcom products.

  • You have proven experience as a marketing leader both strategically and operationally plus you collaborate cross functionally (at region & local level) will be essential for this key position.
  • Your demonstrable ability to build, lead and motivate teams to succeed and deliver outstanding & measurable commercial brand success will make you an ideal candidate for this role
  • You provide strategic direction for market strategies and Go‑to‑Market plans across the DACH product portfolio.
  • You lead the annual brand planning process for the DACH cluster in alignment with regional and global marketing teams.
  • You create alignment around brand strategy and executional plans with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • You develop localized messaging, positioning and integrated marketing campaigns tailored to HCPs, consumers, and payors.
  • You lead, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing marketing team to deliver impactful commercial strategies and campaigns.
  • You drive successful new product launches, ensuring strong engagement and commercial impact across the region.
  • You lead Professional Education marketing strategies to grow CGM awareness and prescribing among priority HCP audiences.
  • You champion competitive intelligence, translating insights into actionable strategies and market opportunities.
  • You lead the development and execution of omnichannel and CRM strategies to deepen engagement with HCPs.
  • You are accountable for defining and delivering the OOP channel strategy, optimizing e‑commerce growth.
  • You leverage marketing analytics to prioritize investments and maximize ROI across channels.
  • You contribute to regional product and marketing strategy through active participation in regional workstreams.

  • You bring a proven track record of strategic and operational marketing leadership, ideally within the CGM or broader healthcare space.
  • You have demonstrated success developing and motivating marketing talent and cross‑functional teams.
  • You have strong strategic thinking capabilities and can translate insights into compelling, differentiated messaging and campaigns.
  • You excel at influencing and inspiring sales leaders and teams to deliver strong in‑field execution of marketing strategies.
  • Your experience spans developing and delivering multi‑channel HCP, payor, and DTC campaigns (digital, CRM, broadcast, etc.).
  • You have a successful history of managing product launches and driving uptake in competitive markets.
  • Your analytical mindset allows you to evaluate impact, optimize plans, and make data‑driven decisions.
  • You have exceptional communication and collaboration skills, partnering effectively with global, regional, and local teams.
  • Your familiarity with market research, business strategy, partner management, product development, and clinical outcomes supports sound commercial decision‑making.
  • You are business fluent in German and English.

  • 15 to 25 %

Experience And Education Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 8 years in medical device or consumer health marketing.
  • 9+ years of successful management experience in relevant industry.
  • Master in Marketing would be a plus.

Flex/Hybrid Workplace: Your primary location will be your assigned Dexcom site (Mainz) but you may work part of the week from a home office. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically within an hour’s commute).
