Director of Professional Services

HireCircle are proud to be partnering with an established global software company delivering high-value, security-focused technology solutions to enterprise customers worldwide. They are seeking a Director of Professional Services to lead their customer delivery organisation and ensure the successful implementation and ongoing adoption of their software solutions.

In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee a team of consultants and engineers responsible for delivering complex software deployments to customers across EMEA and beyond. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in managing a billable professional services organisation within a software or SaaS environment, combining technical depth with commercial and operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing professional services team based in Munich and across Europe.
• Define and execute strategies to optimise utilisation, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee delivery of complex software implementations, integrations, and customer onboarding projects.
• Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to align delivery capability with business objectives.
• Establish scalable processes for forecasting, resource planning, and performance reporting.
• Drive a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and customer success.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading professional services or consulting functions in a software company (preferably SaaS or enterprise technology).
• Proven track record managing billable services with clear commercial results.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software delivery, customer success, and post-sales engagement.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English required; German language skills are advantageous.
