Position : Business Development Executive – EU Market (DPP & Compliance Solutions)

We specialize in Digital Product Passport (DPP), Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and cross-border regulatory frameworks, helping global manufacturers, brands, and hidden champions navigate EU market access and build long‑term competitiveness.

Role Description
This is not a traditional sales role.
You are the frontline business builder for our DPP solutions in Europe.
- Identify and engage European hidden champions, industrial manufacturers, and global brands
- Own the full sales cycle (from lead generation to closing and account expansion)
- Translate complex compliance (DPP, EPR, ESG, supply chain data) into clear business value
- Co‑create solutions with clients together with our product and compliance teams
- Build long‑term strategic accounts, not one-off deals
This is a hybrid role based in Ludwigsburg (Stuttgart region) with flexibility for remote work and travel across Europe.
What You Will Actually Do
- Build and manage a high‑quality pipeline in DACH and broader EU markets
- Lead consultative sales conversations with C‑level stakeholders (CEO, CTO, Head of Sustainability, Compliance Officers)
- Design and deliver tailored DPP solution proposals
- Close deals and structure multi‑year partnerships
- Collaborate internally with: Delivery and tech teams
- Represent Product Ident at industry events, trade fairs, and ecosystem partnerships
What We Expect
- 3–8 years experience in:
- Preferably in industrial, SaaS, supply chain, or compliance‑related fields
- You can sell complex, non‑standardized solutions (not just products with price lists)
- Strong ability to:
- Handle ambiguity
- You are comfortable talking to:
- You are curious about regulation, not afraid of it
- Fluent in German and English (must‑have)
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience with:
- ESG / Sustainability / Circular Economy
- Supply chain or manufacturing industries
- EU regulatory frameworks (DPP, EPR, CE, etc.)
- Existing network in DACH industrial ecosystem
- Ability to think like a partner, not a salesperson

Qualifications
- Proven experience in New Business Development and Lead Generation

- Knowledge of EU and German regulatory compliance is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly German and English, is an advantage
