What you’ll do

As Electronics Design Engineer, you’ll contribute across the full development cycle — from concept to field testing.

• Design and layout PCB assemblies (PCBAs) using Altium Designer
• Simulate, and analyse circuits and schematics using PSpice (or similar tools)
• Develop electronic system specifications and contribute to clear, structured technical documentation
• Design analogue and digital circuits for subsea instrumentation and communication systems
• Work with ARM microcontrollers and FPGAs
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to deliver integrated solutions
• Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and validation — in lab and real-world subsea conditions
• Be involved end-to-end: specification, architecture, implementation, testing, integration, commissioning, and field trials
• Work with international stakeholders and development teams
• Occasionally travel for integration and testing activities

What you bring

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a comparable qualification
• 3 to 6 years of professional experience in electronics development (intermediate level)
• Background in analogue and digital circuit design
• Proven experience in circuit + PCB design and layout
• Confidence using Altium Designer
• Experience with PSpice or equivalent simulation tools
• Hands‑on experience with STM microcontrollers
• Solid understanding of embedded architectures and low‑level software
• English at native or near-native level
• A structured, proactive working style — and a hands‑on mindset
