About the role

We are looking for an Electrotechnical Master (Elektrotechnikermeister) to support our in-house electrical works in Germany. The top priority of this role is Medium Voltage (MV) cable terminations, joints and connection works in the HV/MV substation environment (AIS/GIS) and related infrastructure.

As we are building an in-house team, the successful candidate should be willing and suitable to take on the VEFK (Verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft) responsibility within the role (formal appointment will be made by the company in writing).

Key responsibilities (focus on MV cable works)

• Lead and perform MV cable terminations, joints and connection works (core scope)
• Cable preparation, installation of termination/joint kits, connection works and final checks
• Read and execute termination schedules, drawings and technical instructions
• Ensure compliance with German electrical safety rules, permits and method statements
• Coordinate with site management and commissioning/testing interface when required
• Support the company’s electrical safety organization on site, including VEFK-related responsibilities (supervision, compliance, processes)

Must-have requirements

• Proven hands‑on experience in MV cable terminations/jointing
• Strong safety mindset and disciplined site working approach
• German language is mandatory (site communication and documentation)
• Legal eligibility to work in Germany (valid work permit / EU work authorization)
• Willingness and suitability to assume the VEFK responsibility within the role (formal appointment in writing by the company)
• SCC certificate (preferred; required depending on client/site requirements)
• MV switching authorization (Schaltberechtigung) (required if switching operations are in scope; otherwise preferred / willingness to obtain)
• First Aid (Erste Hilfe) (preferred; may be required by site rules) or willingness to obtain
• Driving license (Class B) (preferred / an advantage)
• DGUV V3 / electrical testing & documentation experience (preferred)
