Embedded Systems & Applications Engineer – ADAS / Embedded & Robotics

We are currently partnered with a technology organisation in Germany, looking to expand their embedded software department with experienced Systems & Applications Engineers to support the development of next‑generation autonomous and AI‑driven vehicle technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise algorithms for robotics applications, including AEB, ACC, sensor calibration, and radar-based AI solutions
• Embedded software development and debugging using C++ and Python for real‑time systems
• Development of modular and scalable robotics software using ROS / ROS2
• Integration and calibration of sensors including radar, cameras, LiDAR, and IMUs , with a focus on data fusion and synchronisation
• Implementation of real‑time communication solutions across ECUs and compute platforms (Ethernet, CAN, UDP/TCP)

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
• Professional experience in embedded software, robotics, or automotive systems
• Strong C++ and Python skills, including real‑time and multithreaded applications
• Hands‑on experience with ROS / ROS2
• Solid understanding of ADAS systems , sensor processing, and perception pipelines
• Experience with radar and camera processing , sensor fusion, and calibration techniques
