Engineer Loads Control (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Perform a fine‑tuning of the wind turbine control system parameters to ensure both stability and optimal results for various product configurations and power modes.
• Develop and conceive new control functions to improve wind turbine and wind farm performance in terms of load reduction and power capture increase.
• Investigate and analyze complex control issues in the fleet and develop corrective actions in close cooperation with various departments in an international environment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to fulfill Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis for new control functions.
• Collaborate with the modeling and simulation of key subsystems, sensors, pitch and yaw actuators in the wind turbine as well as flow effects at the wind farm.

Qualifications

• MSc/Ph.D. degree in Mechanical, Control, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of Control Design Techniques and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Required English level C1; desirable German or Spanish.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience.
• Availability to travel.
