Enterprise Network & Security Architect

8 months contract, extendable

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Network & Security Architect. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Data Center and Remote site LAN integrations, carve-outs resulting from mergers and demergers, ensuring they meet the organization's current and future needs for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.

The role involves collaborating with other Architects and solution leads from different workstreams to understand their requirements and develop appropriate solutions.

Key Responsibilities (project requirements)

1. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape and future roadmap quickly.
2. Understand ongoing merger, integration, and carve-out projects.
3. Take over from existing Network & Security Architects on ongoing projects to continue development and support of solutions and roadmaps.
4. Create network blueprints focusing on scalability, security, and reliability.
5. Perform network modeling, analysis, and capacity planning.
6. Develop technology roadmaps and oversee hardware and software upgrades.
7. Research and recommend new technologies and strategies based on customer needs.
8. Lead discussions with clients for requirements gathering, solution driving, and troubleshooting.
9. Participate in workshops and lead the network & security architecture efforts.
10. Create integration and technology roadmaps for LAN, WAN, and Security.
11. Collaborate with other workstream leads and partners involved in the integration program.
12. Design solutions, including High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs), and present them for approval.
13. Drive the project team to convert solutions into billable projects, including creating Statements of Work (SoW) and commercials.
14. Handover approved solutions to the project delivery team for execution.
15. Support project implementation to ensure timely delivery.
16. Configure routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
17. Implement SDWAN solutions (e.g., Velocloud).
18. Manage wireless solutions (Aruba), LAN (Aruba), NAC (Aruba ClearPass), and remote access solutions (F5 APM).
19. Develop business partner access solutions, PKI, and network integrations with OT/IOT, Cloud Infrastructure, and third-party services.
