About the role
Recruiting Manager – Munich, Germany
You will lead our early talent attraction across Germany and Austria and help shape the next generation of Oliver Wyman consultants. You will be the primary recruiting contact for interns and entry‑level hires, building and delivering a market‑leading campus and early‑talent strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of an early‑talent recruiting strategy for Germany and Austria.
- Own end‑to‑end hiring process for interns and graduates: screening, interviews, offers, onboarding and reporting.
- Drive the delivery of Oliver Wyman’s Inclusion & Diversity agenda for entry‑level hiring.
- Create local campus marketing materials, adverts and digital content aligned with firmwide recruitment marketing.
- Manage university relationships, plan campus activity and coordinate consultant school teams and logistics.
- Build and monitor recruiting metrics (efficiency, spend, resource needs) and maintain recruiting systems (Workday).
- Develop and control the annual recruiting budget, process invoices and ensure cost‑effective execution.
- Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools and candidate experience using feedback and data.
- Manage and develop the local recruiting team, sharing best practices across markets.
- Lead special projects to improve recruiting processes, training or strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Approximately 5‑6 years of end‑to‑end graduate / early‑career recruiting experience in professional services or management consulting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German.
- Experience managing budgets, vendor coordination and campus marketing activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases and willingness to use AI tools for efficiency.
- Experience with Workday or a similar ATS.
- Prior experience coordinating international or multination recruiting events.
- Background in consulting or knowledge of professional services recruiting.
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
