Job Summary

As an Equipment Maintenance professional at JD DEVELOPMENT DE GmbH, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality and longevity of our critical operational equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and execute repairs to minimize downtime and support efficient production processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems and perform effective repairs.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment components, including motors, pumps, valves, and control systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to aid in troubleshooting and repair efforts.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and time spent.
• Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize operational disruptions.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications

• Proven experience in equipment maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Relevant certifications or vocational training in maintenance, mechanics, or a related field are a plus.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
