Overview

Brief Description: Build Your Sales Career in the Thriving Agricultural Auction Industry. BigIron is seeking Equipment Sales Representatives to join our growing sales team across the Central United States. We serve farmers, ranchers, and landowners from Colorado to Ohio and Minnesota to Texas, combining auction technology with agricultural expertise to deliver results. This role offers autonomy to build a geographic territory with training, technology, and management support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage defined geographic territories, develop customer relationships, generate leads, and conduct successful auctions for farm equipment and real estate.
  • Build territory with support from comprehensive training, advanced technology, and an experienced management team.
  • Operate within a collaborative, results-driven culture with a focus on earning potential and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of successful sales experience with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong preference for agricultural industry background (equipment, commodities, farm services)
  • Experience in rural markets, industrial sales, or relationship-based industries
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage existing customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills within agricultural communities
  • Existing network in agricultural markets preferred
  • Comfortable with technology platforms and CRM systems
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic, persistence, and resilience
  • Valid driver\'s license and willingness to travel extensively
  • Willingness to invest time and effort in territory development
  • Genuine passion for agricultural markets and rural communities

Open Equipment Sales Representative openings in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Illinois, and surrounding areas. Territories are assigned based on location and market potential, typically 3–6 counties.
