The Opportunity

Since our founding in 2016 we’ve been on an exciting journey with even more ahead of us. To continue we need dedicated team members who are ready to take on diverse challenges and a high level of responsibility. We’re currently looking for an Event Manager to help us organize our community conferences company events and external trade shows.

Your Challenges

• You will be responsible for the organizational and logistical preparation of external conferences and trade shows in an international environment.
• You will take charge of planning and executing our partner and customer events such as webinars hackathons workshops and dinners.
• You will assist with the organization and execution of our flagship conference ContainerDays in Hamburg.
• You will independently organize or support the organization of our company-wide events.
• You will contribute creative ideas to our event marketing and help with drafting newsletters and managing our social media channels.
• You will coordinate necessary design and marketing materials (SWAG).
• You will communicate independently with service providers partners and participants.

Your Profile

• You have completed a vocational training in event management and / or have 2-3 years of event management experience.
• Ideally you have some initial professional experience in event and / or project management.
• You are an organizational talent with an eye for detail and can maintain a clear overview in any situation.
• You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
• You have full proficiency in both German and English.
• You live within a reasonable distance of Hamburg.
