Your Role:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Executive Personal Assistant (all genders) to support the Chief Finance Transformation and Strategy Officer (CFTSO), reporting directly to the CFO. This key position involves managing complex calendars, coordinating communication among various stakeholders, and providing operational support for strategic finance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a trusted partner, enabling the CFTSO to focus on impactful transformation projects and strategic priorities, while possessing a deep understanding of the company and its sectors. This position will also work closely with the personal assistant to the CFO of Merck.

Who You Are

• An apprenticeship as a Business Communication Clerk or a similar qualification is required; additional qualifications are desirable
• A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably in finance or strategy roles
• Proven ability to manage high-pressure schedules and maintain confidentiality
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual collaboration tools (e.g. MS Teams)
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all organizational levels with a high level of professionalism and discretion in all interactions
• A proactive problem-solver with a solution-oriented mindset
