ABOUT THE ROLE

As Field Sales Lead, you will be responsible for building and scaling our new Field Sales function in Germany from the ground up. This role requires a senior leader who can operate with autonomy, deliver execution at pace, and shape a strategic roadmap whilst rolling up their sleeves. You'll lead by example – actively contributing to sales in the early stages while hiring, coaching, and structuring a high-performing team.

You’ll work cross-functionally to deliver results in an evolving market, aligning with stakeholders across Marketing Verticals and Product Team. You’ll be accountable for acquisition targets through both face-to-face and telephone sales, as well as leading strategic events and partnerships that accelerate growth.

This role is critical to establishing a high-impact commercial team in Germany, and you will be expected to operate at both a strategic and tactical level.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and launching Tide’s Field Sales function in Germany, including hiring and onboarding a high-performing team
  • Directly supporting acquisition targets through both hands-on sales and agent coaching
  • Leading strategic planning, performance management and reporting across telephone and field sales
  • Driving end-to-end recruitment, team training, and agent engagement for both permanent and temporary staff
  • Delivering and overseeing sales events and local activations to raise brand awareness and convert members
  • Collaborating across teams to align growth, marketing and onboarding efforts
  • Championing Tide culture and leading initiatives to ensure team wellbeing and strong performance

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent written and spoken communication
  • Proven experience in building and scaling sales teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable operating with high levels of autonomy and ambiguity
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching and motivational ability
  • Hands-on approach – you are as comfortable leading strategy as you are doing the work
  • Strong experience in field sales, telephone sales, or both, ideally within fintech or commercial B2B
  • Experience hiring and managing temporary or large-scale operational teams
  • Highly organised with strong planning, prioritisation, and operational rigour
  • Tech-savvy: confident with dashboards, reporting, CRM, and tracking tools
