We are hiring a: Field Service Technician Calibration Team

About the role

As a Field Service Technician in our Service Team , you will represent Watlow to customers primarily in the northern regions of Germany. Your responsibilities will include performing on‑site calibrations, commissioning, and providing technical support for measurement and control products . Through your work, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting operational excellence in the area. Ideally, we are seeking a candidate who is based in the Ruhr Area.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform on‑site calibrations according to AMS2750 and CQI9 , including SAT and TUS measurements for aerospace and automotive clients
  • Configure, install, and commission instrumentation and control solutions (controllers, recorders, thyristor controllers, etc.)
  • Deliver on‑site product training and technical briefings to customers and internal teams
  • Independently manage service assignments and provide remote support from your home office
  • Collaborate closely with sales and customers to meet technical and operational needs

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Education in electrical engineering or control technology, ideally with further training as a technician or master craftsman
  • Proven experience in measurement and control technology
  • Passion for field service and direct customer interaction
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and adaptability to changing challenges
  • Fluent in German , with good English skills
