Field Service Technician – Munster

KCC Group are a market leader in the provision of supply, installation, and maintenance of the following products: Glazed Screens & Doors, Fire Resistant Glazing Systems, Facades & Window Systems, Steel Security Doors, Door Hardware, Automatic Doors, Movable Walls, Fire Door Inspections, Access Control, and more. As part of our continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for the addition of a Field Service Technician to join our busy Service Department.

Key Responsibilities

1. The repair, service, and installation of door automation and access control systems to our clients across the public and private sectors.
2. Attending to callouts as required and maintaining a flexible approach to working hours and areas.
3. Recommending appropriate upgrades or repairs and informing the office of requirements.
4. Operating as part of the on-call rota, including out-of-hours coverage.
5. Following all company procedures diligently.
6. Maintaining the company van in good condition and ensuring stock levels are adequate.
7. Wearing uniform and PPE at all times during work.
8. Possessing at least 2 years of experience as a Service Engineer/Technician.
9. Having working knowledge of various manufacturers' automatic door products.
10. Being capable of repairing, servicing, and installing to a high standard.
11. Possessing a basic understanding of access control equipment; training will be provided.
12. Exhibiting good communication skills and representing the company professionally.
13. Holding a current and relevant CSR card.
14. Having a full, clean driving license.
15. Consideration will be given to time-served Electricians, Security Installation Engineers, Lift Engineers, etc., with full training provided.
