Finance & Strategy Manager, Germany

We are looking for a Manager, Finance & Strategy to support our Germany business. You will be the strategic advisor to critical XFN partners across our Germany business to ensure we are making the most efficient investment and capital allocation decisions while improving the experience for all of our marketplace participants. You will lead financial reporting, forecasting, and planning, and will guide financial insights and direction for all of our operational decisions and strategies.

You will report to the Director, Finance & Strategy. This role is hybrid with some time in-office in Berlin and some time remote.

What You’ll Do

• Own the P&L, with a deep understanding of the key drivers to strategically balance growth and profitability
• Lead weekly financial reporting and forecasting, as well as quarterly planning, acting as the go-to expert on business performance
• Identify and evaluate key risks and opportunities, build business cases and investment proposals, and ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives
• Build detailed, scalable forecasting models for the country
• Own visibility into actuals: analysis, reporting, and insights for leadership
• Partner with business leaders to create annual plans, forecasts, and business cases
• Identify, recommend, and track optimization opportunities
• Develop tools and reporting to automate and scale revenue and expense management
• Drive ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or a related field
• Strong track record building financial models, managing budgets and forecasts
• Highly proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets; bonus for Looker, Power BI (Power Query) skills
• Strong analytical skills; able to move between the big picture and drill into the details
• Proven experience partnering cross-functionally with business leaders
• Ownership mindset and ability to work independently
• Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
