About Lyceum
Lyceum is building AI-native HPC infrastructure for the next generation of deep-tech companies. We’re an early-stage team moving fast, obsessed with customer value, and focused on building a category-defining product.
The Role
You’ll work directly with the founding team as a sparring partner across operations, trust, and execution. This is a hands-on, generalist role where you’ll help build and run mission-critical workflows that make the company more reliable, scalable, and enterprise-ready.
Rather than focusing on a single framework, you’ll help turn ambiguous requirements into concrete, working processes—from internal documentation to customer-facing trust topics.
If you enjoy building structure from scratch, running complex initiatives, and executing with high standards, this role is for you.
Your Focus
Governance, Risk & Trust
- Help build and operationalize Lyceum’s governance and risk foundations
- Support the setup and maintenance of our ISMS
- Translate high-level requirements into clear processes and documentation
ISO & Readiness
- Support ISO 27001 readiness (documentation, control mapping, evidence)
- Help run risk assessments and track mitigation measures
- Maintain policies and audit-relevant materials pragmatically
Policy & Regulatory Context
- Track relevant regulatory and political developments (AI, infrastructure, EU)
- Support founder-facing work with public institutions and enterprise customers
- Prepare concise briefings connecting policy with operational impact
Execution & Founder Support
- Own day-to-day execution of selected initiatives
- Coordinate across product, engineering, operations, and external stakeholders
- Keep timelines, follow-ups, and decisions moving
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with the founders on governance, risk, and compliance priorities
- Build and maintain internal documentation, playbooks, and decision logs
- Support audits, customer trust requests, and external assessments
- Research and summarize regulatory, political, and institutional requirements relevant to Lyceum
- Take ownership of your own initiatives—from problem definition to execution and tracking
Your Profile
- Strong sense for structure, responsibility, and reliability
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and turning it into execution
- Curious about the intersection of technology, regulation, and politics
- Low ego, high ownership
Your Background
- Currently studying or recently graduated in law, public policy, economics, business, or a related field
- First experience in a fast-paced or analytical environment (startup, consulting, policy, VC, think tank, etc.)
- Interest in governance, regulation, risk, or public-sector topics
- Available for 3–6 months
- Berlin-based or willing to relocate (on-site)
Bonus Points
- Exposure to ISO standards, compliance, or regulated industries
