Your tasks

• As Global Commercial Project & Risk Manager for the project execution phase, you will lead and develop the global Commercial Project Management (CPM) organization across all business units of Voith Hydro.
• Develop and implement the global CPM strategy in line with corporate goals and customer expectations.
• Standardize and continuously improve CPM processes, tools, and KPIs in all operating units.
• Provide professional leadership to the business units' CPMs in the global matrix organization and promote best practices and knowledge sharing.
• Support and escalation management for critical or endangered projects
• Build and implement a global training and certification program for CPM
• Implement and ensure active global risk management in project execution
• Monitor global project portfolio performance together with the Global Head of Project and regularly report to the Board of Management
• Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, transparency, and customer orientation.

Your profile

• Degree in law, economics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field of study.
• Knowledge in contract and commercial management, ideally in the context of EPC/EPCM projects, as well as experience with common standards and regulations (FIDIC, NEC, etc.).
• Solid professional experience in commercial project execution or bid processing, plus 10 years of experience in international plant or construction projects.
• Basic knowledge in finance and accounting, controlling, taxes, and insurance.
• Experience with project management tools, planning tools (e.g., Primavera), and SAP is an advantage.
• Fluent English skills; German and other languages are a plus.
• Leadership skills in a line or matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%).
• A pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, strong personal work organization, initiative, and collaborative spirit.
