Global Portfolio Manager (all genders)

Your mission

• Interdisciplinary project management for search queries and new finished product opportunities for Midas subsidiaries, as well as coordination with specialist departments and external partners
• Analysis of customer interests and the pharmaceutical product portfolio of partner companies
• Screening and evaluation of new potential partner companies
• Commercial and medical-scientific evaluation of differentiated drug development candidates in coordination with internal and external specialist departments
• Preparation of business cases for new investment projects
• Participation in the further development of the portfolio strategy and contribution of own project proposals
• Definition of suitable business models and contract negotiations with development and cooperation partners

Your profile

• Completed degree in pharmaceutical economics or pharmacy (or similar natural sciences)
• Professional experience in portfolio management or business development in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong interest in commercial and medical-scientific issues
• Analytical thinking skills at an interdisciplinary level for the evaluation of pharmaceutical projects
• Enjoyment of negotiating at an international level and willingness to travel occasionally
• Very good command of written and spoken English and German
