Government Relations & Compliance Expert（Germany, Consulting Mode Available）

• Establish and maintain communication mechanisms with German federal/state governments, regulatory authorities and industry associations (e.g. VDA).
• Conduct in-depth research on EU/German policies and regulations, and provide compliance guidance for the company's European business operation and project landing.
• Clarify policy barriers and avoidance paths of competitors in Europe, and provide policy risk early warning and solution suggestions.
• Be responsible for applying for EU and German national funding support and promoting the landing of relevant projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above, major in Economics, Law, Political Science or related fields is a must.
• Senior local professional in Germany, with in-depth understanding of German lobbying system and EU/German automotive industry-related policies and regulations.
• Proficient in GDPR, EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, German labor law and supply chain law, with practical experience in handling complex foreign-related legal compliance cases.
• Have working experience in consulting firm government consulting department, law firm or multinational enterprise compliance department, or close ties with local industry associations.
• Excellent communication and resource integration ability, with a good reputation in the local government and industry circles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience in applying for EU/German scientific research and industrial project funding, with a high success rate of application.
• Have rich experience in handling cross-border enterprise policy compliance and government relations in the intelligent driving/automotive industry.
