The EIB, the European Union's bank, in the framework of its GRAD programme, is seeking to recruit for its Management Committee (MC), Internal Audit Department (IA), Internal Audit EIB Division (EIB), IA Market Risk, Treasury, Finance & BBP Unit (IA-MR-TRES-FI-BBP), at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a Graduate – Internal Audit.
This is a full-time position. The term of the contract will be 2 years. Panel interviews are anticipated for April/May 2026.
Internal Audit (IA) plays a critical role in the governance and management framework of the EIB Group by providing independent and objective assurance, as well as advisory services aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. IA adopts a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal control processes across the EIB and EIF. IA embodies the third line of defence within the internal control framework.
The purpose of this Graduate position within the Internal Audit Department is to support audit assignments and participate in transversal activities, such as the regulatory screening or the development and use of Artificial Intelligence.
As a Graduate, you will report to the Senior Head Unit and contribute to audits covering a wide range of activities and processes at the EIB or EIF level. Within the scope of specific audit assignments, you will also operate under the supervision of senior colleagues. The role involves regular interaction with colleagues across all Directorates of the EIB Group, and with external stakeholders relevant to the audit function.
