We are looking for you to join our growing team in Karlsruhe as a full-time (40 hours per week) as
Head of Corporate Finance (m/f/d).
Responsibilities
You lead Vulcan’s project finance and debt‑funding strategy, managing the existing project‑finance structure, lender communications and financial models.
You build, maintain and expand strong relationships with key lenders, investors and financial institutions, while overseeing all project‑finance and debt advisors.
You lead due‑diligence processes and reporting requirements for new and ongoing projects, negotiating financial terms and managing all project‑finance contracts.
You ensure full compliance with financial regulations and reporting obligations, preparing and presenting high‑quality financial reports to senior management, the board and external stakeholders.
You coordinate financial activities across all funding sources, providing clear guidance to internal teams on project‑finance documentation, obligations and reporting.
You co‑lead the development of Vulcan’s internal financial risk‑management framework in collaboration with the Risk and Legal functions.
You oversee financial modelling, scenario analyses, deal structuring and execution for new projects, and prepare investment materials.
Qualifications
You hold a master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field, supported by strong financial acumen and numeracy.
You bring extensive experience in debt structuring, documentation and negotiation, ideally with a proven track record in project finance.
You build credibility with lenders and key stakeholders through excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
You demonstrate strong negotiation capabilities and experience drafting and reviewing financial documentation with precision and clarity.
You possess advanced financial‑analysis skills with a structured, detail‑oriented and solutions‑focused approach.
You are independent, proactive, and able to operate effectively in complex, fast‑moving environments.
You are fluent in written and spoken English and German, enabling you to engage confidently across diverse stakeholder groups.
