Sirio is looking for a professional and dedicated Head of IT & Digitalization Europe who is responsible for leading the regional digital and IT agenda, ensuring that Sirio Europe’s technology landscape supports business growth, operational excellence, compliance, and transformation across Europe.

This role combines responsibility for IT operations, enterprise applications, and digital business transformation, with a strong focus on translating business needs into scalable, reliable, and compliant technology solutions. The role will oversee core technology domains such as infrastructure, workplace, network, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems, while also driving optimization and harmonization of key business platforms including SAP, MES, supply chain systems, warehouse and quality systems, and other critical digital applications.

The Role/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the Europe IT and digitalization strategy in alignment with global IT direction and regional business priorities
  • Identify opportunities to drive innovation, digitalization, and operational efficiency across infrastructure, enterprise applications, manufacturing, supply chain, and business support functions
  • Act as a strategic business partner to regional leadership, translating business needs into practical and scalable digital solutions
  • Build a strong digital foundation that supports growth, compliance, process harmonization, and future transformation
  • Lead regional IT operations, including infrastructure, cloud, and service delivery, ensuring effective governance and vendor management
  • Manage network and connectivity services across manufacturing sites, warehouses, laboratories, and offices
  • Ensure high availability, resilience, and business continuity of IT services across the region
  • Lead the strategy, governance, and roadmap of enterprise applications across Europe (e.g., SAP/ERP, MES, supply chain, and related systems)
  • Partner with key business functions to optimize and standardize processes through technology
  • Oversee application lifecycle, standardization, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with global standards
  • Drive digital transformation across manufacturing and supply chain, including deployment and optimization of key systems
  • Work closely with business leaders to enable automation, process simplification, and data-driven performance management
  • Ensure digital solutions support compliance, product quality, and operational excellence in regulated environments
  • Promote the use of data and analytics to improve planning, productivity, and decision-making
  • Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks across the region, aligned with global IT and enterprise architecture standards
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and cybersecurity requirements (e.g., GMP, GxP, ISO, GDPR)
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing regional IT and digital team
  • Manage strategic vendors and the regional IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency and service quality
  • Support business case development and prioritization of digital initiatives, focusing on value, scalability, and compliance

Profile/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT, digitalization, or enterprise applications, preferably within manufacturing, life sciences, or other regulated industries
  • Proven experience leading regional or multi‑site IT functions, including infrastructure, service delivery, and vendor management
  • Strong experience with enterprise applications, particularly SAP/ERP, MES, and supply chain systems
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end business processes and experience driving digital transformation in manufacturing and supply chain environments
  • Experience with MES and shopfloor integration is a strong advantage
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, cybersecurity, and data protection
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a strategic and hands‑on approach
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and occasionally to Asia
  • High integrity and collaborative mindset
