Head of SAP

Deep SAP Process knowledge, especially within end-to-end Logistics process (SD, MM, EWM, TM)

• Proven experience in technical and disciplinary leadership of teams.
• Ability to optimise processes and keep a team performing to a high standard.
• Strong communicator and team motivator.
• Fluent in German spoken and written.

About the role:

• Direct responsibility of 14 SAP colleagues across modules SD, MM, FICO, EWM TM and report into the Director of ERP. Provide technical and people leadership, including coaching, performance development, and talent growth.
• Define and execute the group-wide SAP strategy, including roadmap development, system architecture, and governance standards.
• Contribute to the strategic evolution and continuous improvement of the overall SAP system landscape.
• Ensure stable, efficient, and high-performing SAP operations through performance monitoring, incident management, and proactive optimization measures.
• Lead the planning, management, and hands‑on delivery of complex ERP transformation and implementation projects.
• Manage stakeholders effectively and coordinate external partners such as consulting firms, freelancers, and service providers.
• Act as the primary liaison for specialist departments and business owners, supporting the full lifecycle from requirements analysis through solution design and implementation.
• Provide technical and people leadership for SAP application teams, including coaching, performance development, and talent growth.
