Mission
As Head of Strategic Partnerships you will be the crucial link between lemon.markets and our strategic partners, from first conversations through launch and long‑term growth. You’ll define how our platform expands in Europe: prioritise opportunities, turn strategy into measurable outcomes, and drive cross‑functional collaboration across GTM, Product, Engineering, Operations and Outsourcing.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to actively market our offering and drive business development by identifying and closing new opportunities.
- Define and execute the functional concepts for new offerings, specifying required features, understanding key dependencies, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Manage and develop key industry relationships, including custodians, exchanges, asset managers and other relevant players.
- Lead critical strategic projects and programs, managing dependencies and connecting the dots across domains and functions.
- Build strong relationships and manage dependencies between lemon.markets and our new parent company dwpbank, ensuring alignment and shared success.
- Provide rapid clarity, resolve ambiguity, and communicate decisions efficiently to enable teams to implement solutions.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of market infrastructure, regulation, custody, clearing and settlement, with proven experience across German and European landscape.
- Track record of leading and delivering complex, cross‑functional projects and managing strategic relationships across legal, product, operations, risk and commercial teams.
- Product mindset, shaping roadmaps, balancing speed, risk and customer impact.
- Excellent relationship builder, earning trust quickly, navigating tough conversations with clarity.
- Strong ownership, proactively driving initiatives end‑to‑end, removing blockers, and raising the bar without prompting.
- Fluent in German and English, capable of switching contexts and interacting with stakeholders across markets and functions.
- Compliant mindset, experienced in building scalable, regulator‑ready processes into partnerships from day one.
- Pragmatic, hands‑on, comfortable rolling up sleeves in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
