Perovskite solar cells are the future of solar energy. However, there is one last hurdle before they make it onto your roof: stability.
Perovskite solar cells only last a few months, where silicon (what you currently see on your roof) lasts up to 25 years. To understand why perovskite solar cells die so quickly, we are building the largest stability setup, ever.
The setup can measure thousands of solar cells at once, allowing us to collect large amounts of data for analysis. We now need to build a system that can control and record data from all these simultaneous experiments.
You will design the central server that will allow us to control these experiments and record their data.
