Position

For the Hotel Account Manager (Hotel Chains) position, the future holder will be responsible for corporate hotel program optimization (book ability & compliance of the hotel program, increase of corporate business) and the analysis and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for strategic hotel chain partners in the respective region. They will plan, implement and execute strategies and initiatives with partners and boost our revenue streams. The position is an important interface between the requirements of our corporate customers and hotel chain partners. They will collaborate closely with the enterprise and procurement department to achieve an outstanding customer experience. As direct report to the Director of Sales, they’ll manage and develop key hotel chain partner relationships.

Challenge

  • Take full responsibility for hotel chain partner development in the region
  • Recommend platform products to partners based on individual needs
  • Describe platform products and explain benefits and uses
  • Communicate with partners in person, by phone and by e‑mail to understand needs and experience in communication with C or D Level stakeholders
  • Maintain working knowledge of HRS Group tech products and services
  • Establish and nurture relationships to facilitate sales
  • Extract, analyse and interpret data from different sources to help partners achieve goals
  • Complete administrative tasks, such as processing and recording sales in CRM
  • Advise and train partners on HRS systems and applications

  • Ground experience in a relevant area of solution selling, business studies / degrees an advantage
  • A commercially driven profile who is also data‑minded, with good analytical skills
  • Familiarity with relevant industry software, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Superb thinking to provide creative solutions that address hotel chain partner needs
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills to support cross‑functional success in delivering results
  • Hands‑on experience managing an initiative from start to finish
  • Strong negotiation skills, time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines and close sales in a timely manner
  • Interpersonal skills and comfort with meeting new people daily
  • The innate drive to do things better. Strong problem‑solving skills, creativity to develop new possibilities and processes
  • Eager to learn and experiment and not afraid to fail
  • Able to self‑analyses failures and put required solutions in place to improve
  • Structured and independent way of working, paired with a high degree of initiative and responsibility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations in both German and English

Location, mobility, incentive
