HVAC Technician Onshore & Offshore (m/f/x)

Your Position

We offer you the opportunity to come aboard at Semco Maritime during our biggest growth phase ever. You will work in a 2/2-week or 2/3-week rotation, meaning you will be offshore for 2 weeks and then home for the following 2–3 weeks. This schedule offers a unique balance, allowing you to dedicate more time to family, hobbies, and interests.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

Together with your team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and installation of our customers' offshore assets.

• Installation, commissioning, and testing of HVAC systems that support the offshore & onshore processes
• Diagnosing and resolving faults in HVAC systems, including compressors, motors, chillers, and control systems
• Performing regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems
• Maintaining accurate records of all service work, installations, and repairs
• Planning and executing periodic preventive & corrective maintenance in line with manufacturer recommendations and company schedules

Your Profile & Qualifications

We imagine that you are good at collaborating, and you work in a systematic and detailed manner. You should also be comfortable with routine tasks and working in set work methods with defined processes and guidelines. It is important that you are patient and have a safety-first mindset.

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration principles
• Certification to work as HVAC personnel with refrigeration technology (e.g. “Sachkunde der Kategorie I & II”)
• Solid technical and electrical background combined with control room experience from the operational industry, power plant operation, or similar
• Preferably offshore experience
• Can read and communicate in English
