Implementation Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to support the co-creation, communication and rollout of a new IT delivery model for our organization in Munich.
The new IT delivery model (Future Mode of Operations) will define the way we deliver IT Infrastructure services to our client.
This role is ideal for a collaborative leader with strong project management skills, fluency in German, and the ability to communicate effectively with our client and across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-Create IT Delivery Model: Work with business leaders, IT teams, and our customer to design and refine the delivery model (Future Mode of Operations), ensuring alignment with organizational and contractual requirements.
• Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee the implementation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops, meetings, and feedback sessions in German and English, serving as the main point of contact for stakeholders in Munich and globally.
• Change Management: Develop and execute strategies to drive adoption, address resistance, and ensure a smooth transition to the new model.
• Communication: Deliver clear, concise, and culturally appropriate communications to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Training & Enablement: Organize training sessions and create documentation in German and/or English to support teams in adopting new processes and tools.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
15+ years of experience in IT project management, service delivery, or transformation roles.
Proven experience implementing IT delivery models (Agile, DevOps, ITIL, IT Outsourcing delivery models etc.).
Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with change management and process optimization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or Scrum Master are a plus.

Familiarity with automation platforms, cloud technologies, and digital transformation initiatives.
Understanding of local business culture in Germany.
