As Indirect Procurement Category Lead for Logistics, you will be responsible for driving value through collaboration with Supply Chain, Technology, and external partners. You will be part of the Indirect Procurement leadership team and will report to the Head of Indirect Procurement.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and execute category strategies in alignment with key functional stakeholders to enable value, effectiveness and sustainability improvements
  • Lead, develop and support the growth of the direct team (Category Buyers and Category Managers) alongside with the broader Indirect Procurement community
  • Develop initiatives for the assigned Category Portfolio to deliver a pipeline of cost‑efficiency opportunities through central strategic sourcing and activating other levers
  • Lead the implementation and drive adoption of procurement policies, procedures, and programmes to ensure the overall Indirect Procurement targets delivery
  • Lead and execute non‑merch cost‑reduction programmes designed under the category strategy to realise significant savings: short‑, mid‑ and long‑term
  • Responsible for overall strategic category management excellence, i.e., contracts, tenders, planning and forecasting, monitoring and reporting, supplier relationship management
  • Lead the execution of contract excellence practices, perform negotiations with strategic vendors and execute sourcing processes to ensure results are delivered
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal leaders across all levels to ensure Indirect Procurement is aligned with their business objectives

What you bring

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience leading indirect procurement / strategic category management / of logistics and supply chain.
  • Demonstrated capability of managing commercial results in indirect procurement
  • Proven track record of strategy creation, implementation and execution in a change‑management environment
  • People leadership skills
  • Business fluency in English
