Information Technology Support Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced OT/IT Support Engineer to provide on-site support for manufacturing shop floor systems and applications. The role requires strong troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and coordination skills within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1.5 shop floor IT support for manufacturing systems and applications
• Troubleshoot IT endpoints and production line devices (printers, scanners, smart devices, MRTs)
• Collaborate with business users, SMEs, and cross-functional IT teams for issue resolution
• Manage incidents and service requests in ServiceNow following ITIL processes
• Maintain SLAs and ensure timely reporting and communication with stakeholders
• Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and internal IT for operational efficiency

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in manufacturing or quality-related shop floor IT applications
• Hands-on experience with production line devices and endpoint support
• Familiarity with ServiceNow (Incident, Problem, Change, SLM, Knowledge Management)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes; aerospace industry experience is an advantage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in German and English (German nationality required)
• Flexible to work in rotational shifts
