The dedicated Talent Management team play a key role in developing our people and strengthening our culture as we continue to scale across markets.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Talent Management Director to join for a 12‑month contract. This is an ideal interim opportunity for someone who enjoys leading strategic people initiatives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Based in Düsseldorf three days per week, you will take full ownership of the Talent Management strategy and programs, ensuring they are closely aligned with business goals and values.

You will lead a talented team, manage stakeholders across functions and markets, and further strengthen our performance and development culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and further develop the Talent Management strategy, aligning initiatives, processes and standards with overall business objectives.
  • Own the end-to‑end implementation of a new Performance Management initiative, from design to rollout and evaluation.
  • Take a strategic and data‑driven approach to succession planning, career pathways, and future talent pipelines.
  • Partner across teams, functions, and countries to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and talent mobility.
  • Design and deliver learning and development programs tailored to different target groups, ensuring impact and engagement.
  • Lead and mentor your team to deliver excellence, while promoting a culture of trust, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate with impact at all levels of the organization, fostering buy‑in and alignment.
  • Act as a mediator and trusted advisor, managing conflicts and supporting effective cross‑departmental collaboration.
  • Champion our mission, vision, and values through all communication and talent initiatives.

To Be Successful

  • Proven experience in senior Talent Management or Organizational Development leadership roles within a complex, international organization.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing new performance management frameworks and driving related change.
  • Strong background in succession planning, career pathing, and leadership development.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a data‑driven mindset and a passion for innovation.
  • Empathetic, inclusive leader who values collaboration and diversity.
  • Business‑fluent German and excellent communication skills in English.
