In Frankfurt we are looking for you to join us in a full-time or part‑time, non‑permanent position starting in April for a planned 6‑month internship.

BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) engages with a broad client base, including large multinational and mid‑sized corporates, institutional investors and financial services providers. The division is a leading provider of investment banking, debt capital markets and sustainable financing services.

This role sits with the Growth Capital & Solutions (GC&S) team, a transversal team in CIB that encompasses experts across coverage, strategic advisory (incl. equity private placement), non‑dilutive financing and VC coverage. The GC&S team focuses on three key sectors: Fintech & Insurtech, NextGen Tech, and Low Carbon Transition Accelerators.

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you

• Qualitative and quantitative analysis of tech business models
• Idea and solution generation for financial requirements that tech scale‑ups may have in the future
• Meetings, discussions and follow‑ups with founders, C‑levels and board members
• Targeted research of the tech ecosystem, including fintech & insurtech verticals, to identify opportunities
• Together with our various product departments, develop solutions in direct exchange with tech scale‑ups

Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer

• Studying economics, finance, management, computer science, engineering, mathematics or any of the sciences
• Ideally first experience working for a tech scale‑up or prior internship experience with a PE, VC, bank or consultancy
• Strong interest in tech, preferably the fintech ecosystem
• Independent and organized work
• Communicative, open‑minded and team‑oriented working style
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Full professional fluency in English (oral & written)
• German oral and written skills are a plus
